Krystal Marie Ball

Krystal Marie Ball (born November 24, 1981) is an American political commentator. She was a former politician, as well as a television host on MSNBC and a frequent contributor to The Huffington Post, and the co-host of The Hill's Rising alongside Saagar Enjeti. Enjeti and Ball have decided to stop the show in May 2021. This was to allow for them to release Breaking Points (Krystal and Saagar). Ball hosts with Kyle Kulinski on the podcast Krystal Kyle & Friends. She has made guest appearances on networks such as CNN, CNBC, Fox News and programs including Real Time with Bill Maher. In 2020, Ball is married to Jonathan Dariyanani. Ball credits her ongoing interest in politics and her experience as a newly-wed mom during the 2008 primaries. She also watched the US presidential election from Jordan as she was working there. She was able observe the impact of the election on people living in Jordan and, as a result, became aware of the global impact US politics has on people around the world. She was a senior fellow of the New Leaders Council. Ball was the Democratic Party nominee in Virginia's 1st District of the Congressional Congress in 2010, losing to Rob Wittman, who is the incumbent Republican. She hosted the MSNBC show The Cycle from June 2012 to July 2015. She established the People's House Project, an action committee working for Democratic causes in May 2017.
